Paintshop Engineering Specialists
DRYSYS is an engineering design and project management company that specialises in providing paintshop plant solutions for the automotive manufacturers in South Africa. Our team consists of 12 to 15 experienced graduate engineers, project managers, draughtsmen, and safety officers. We collaborate with a trusted network of high-quality subcontractors to bring our designs to life.
Our engineers have experience in paintshop plant, dating back to the 1970’s. Our engineers have designed and built complete paint shops for Ford, Toyota, Isuzu, Nissan, and BMW.
The Drysys offices are located in South Africa’s two major automotive hubs of Gqeberha and Pretoria.

Pre-Treatment Plants
We design, manufacture and install Pre-treatment Plants for car body, chassis and small-parts.
Electrodip Plants (EDP)
We design, manufacture and install Electro-Coat Plant for car body, chassis and small parts.
Spraybooths
Paint Spray Booths for car body and small-parts. We do wet floor booths, using Haden technology, and dry filter booths.
Automotive Ovens
Paint Curing Ovens for car bodies, chassis and small parts. We do convection, radiant and infra-red heated ovens for both metal and plastic parts.
VOC Abatement Plants
Regenerative Thermal Oxidisers, that use technology from a UK partner.
Ventilation Systems
Air Replacement Plants for spraybooth quality air, which includes filtration, heating, cooling and humidification.
Plant Services
We provide critical plant service systems including: Compressed air, Water supply systems, Chilled water systems. All designed to support seamless plant operation and system integration.
Automotive Conveyors
We supply advanced conveyor systems to suit all paintshop layouts and production capacities, including Overhead Conveyors and Floor Conveyors.
Robotic Ultra high-pressure water blast cleaning plants
Our automated robotic ultra high-pressure water blast cleaning plants clean skids using a 2500 bar water pressure system
